Steps
1
Remove all viruses, spyware, and malware inside your computer.
They slow down your computer and also steal your identity such as
passwords or credit card numbers, so be sure to remove those!
2
Clean up your memory.
Try to delete non-useful programs and files inside your hard drive such
as expired forms and damaged games. Also, try clearing out your
computer's physical memory. This allows more temporary memories to be
stored. This allows more information from the internet to be stored
inside your computer, so it could work faster! Upgrading your RAM can
also help.
3
Fix any problems you may have in your computer!
These errors and damages cause a huge problem for your computer, so
your central process unit (CPU) cannot work properly and will result in a
slow process for programs, including your Internet Explorer.
4
Download programs that can speed your computer up.
Not only that this can help your Internet run faster, but can also
improve your whole computer such as gaming quality and copying and
pasting files.
5
Upgrade your system and web browser!
If you are experiencing problems (not just speed but other things) such
as lag in gaming or the web browser not responding, try upgrading your
web browser to the newest version! This will improve your internet speed
a lot. Also, download the newest version of your computer. These newer
versions will reduce the consumption of space in your hard drive and
your RAM, so you can access the internet more quickly than you did
before.
